Justin Fields has had a roller coaster fantasy season through just four weeks. Week 1 he looked great against a good Steelers defensive line, but in Week 2 he was absolutely horrible against the Bills before he was forced from the game with a concussion. Fields then missed their Week 3 game against the Buccaneers due to the brain injury, but came back in Week 4 to face the Dolphins, where he put up another strong fantasy day. They came out of that stretch without a win, but unfortunately for the Jets, we want Fields to play from behind and need to throw and scramble rather than hand the ball off.
Justin Fields start or sit: Week 5 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Justin Fields ahead of Week 5

Below, we’ll go over Justin Fields’ outlook in fantasy football for Week 5.
Fantasy Football analysis: Jets, QB, Justin Fields
The Jets are home underdogs, which sets Fields up well for fantasy production. But what makes this matchup even better is the Dallas Cowboys poor defense. They currently rank dead last in overall defensive DVOA and pass defense DVOA, while they also are at the bottom of the barrel in EPA allowed to the pass. They’ve allowed a league high 10 passing touchdowns to one interception along with the sixth-most QB rushing yards, while allowing two rushing touchdowns.
The only other defense close to the Cowboys in ineptitude are the Dolphins, who Fields just put up a QB4 finish against. Should we worry about another game like he had against the Bills? Sure, if you like to worry, that’s a worry, but the Cowboys aren’t the Bills.
