The question for his fantasy value moving forward, is if he’ll see more playing time than in Week 4?

We break down the fantasy football outlook of Darren Waller ahead of Week 5

At one point in his career, Darren Waller was a Top 3 fantasy tight end, but injuries sapped his ability and love of the game. He’s back now and off to a great start The Dolphins have been in need of a strong red zone target, and if Week 4 is any indicator, they might have found that in Waller.
Below, we’ll go over Darren Waller’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 5.
Fantasy Football analysis: Dolphins, TE, Darren Waller
Waller’s playing time should see an uptick this week and he even said he would this week. With Tyreek Hill done for the season, the team will need to get more snaps out of the veteran. In his 12 snaps in Week 1, Waller lined up out wide 10 times. He isn’t going to be used like your run of the mill tight end, which is great for his prospects moving forward. Add in the fact that the Panthers are dead last in DVOA against tight ends and fourth in fantasy points allowed, and we can feel good about starting him even on limited snaps this week.
