The Denver Broncos head to Philadelphia to take on the undefeated Super Bowl champs as 4.5-point underdogs. They are coming off an easy win over the Joe Burrow-less Bengals. It was such an easy matchup that we saw Denver run the ball 38 times, with starter JK Dobbins getting 17 touches to RJ Harvey’s 18. Both backs played well and Harvey got goal line opportunities, while Audric Estime was relegated to just eight snaps. Overall, Harvey saw 33 snaps, while Dobbins saw 36.

We break down the fantasy football outlook of RJ Harvey ahead of Week 5

Harvey also saw five targets, catching four for 40 yards and a touchdown, which gave him a much better fantasy day despite Dobbins rushing for over 100 yards. We can’t expect Sean Payton to play the two exactly the same as the week before, but there’s no doubt Harvey has proven his value and should continue to be a big part of the offense.
Below, we’ll go over RJ Harvey’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 5.
Fantasy Football analysis: Broncos, RB, RJ Harvey
Going from playing the Bengals last week to the Eagles this week will be tough, but the Eagles haven’t been dominant against the run so far. They’ve given up the ninth-most rushing yards and the sixth-most rushing yards per attempt. They also rank 10th-worst in EPA allowed on the ground. So, it’s not as tough a matchup on the ground as it has been in the past.
With the Eagles as 4.5-point favorites, we can lean toward the Broncos trailing in this one, which looks like it could be good for Harvey based on his recent usage in the receiving game. Dobbins has played to0 well to lose much work, but splitting time between two good backs makes sense here. That should be enough to make both startable despite the split work.
