Daniel Jones and the Colts are now 4-1 with a +74 point differential on the season. The Detroit Lions are second with a +62. I don’t think many people saw this early result when we were watching Jones and Anthony Richardson compete for the starting job in training camp. But here we are!
Daniel Jones start or sit: Week 6 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Daniel Jones ahead of Week 6

Jones started the season scoring three rushing touchdowns in the first two games. Those scores boosted his fantasy scoring into must start range, but he hasn’t found the end zone with his legs since. But, the Colts are scoring plenty, maybe Jones can get in on some of that? Well, not really. So far he’s thrown for one touchdown in four games and two touchdowns in one. The hope with Jones is for him to boost his fantasy numbers with rushing numbers, but he hasn’t been looking to run much this season, as he lets Jonathan Taylor do the heavy lifting in that regard.
Below, we’ll go over Daniel Jones’ outlook in fantasy football for Week 6.
Fantasy Football analysis: Colts, QB, Daniel Jones
The Cardinals defense has played well and rank eighth overall in defensive DVOA. They also have faced quarterbacks Spencer Rattler, Bryce Young, Mac Jones, Sam Darnold, and Cam Ward. And now Daniel Jones. Jones has been an excellent game manager so far this season. The Colts defense and the best running back in the league are getting the job done so far. When he needed to step up against the Rams in Week 4 he ended up with his worst game of the season. The Jones from Week’s 1 and 2 was a mirage.
