The 0-5 Jets welcome the 3-2 Denver Broncos to town this weekend as 7-point home underdogs. The Jets haven’t won a game, but QB Justin Fields has put up strong fantasy numbers in three of his four starts this season. In those games he’s finished as QB2, QB4, and QB7. In his other start he was forced out with a concussion against the Bills, but he was not about to finish as a top play that week. He was downright awful before the injury.
Justin Fields start or sit: Week 6 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Justin Fields ahead of Week 6

All three of his good games have come against below average to bad defenses. At this point we just don’t know if he can put up a good fantasy day against a good defense and the Broncos are very much a good defense.
Below, we’ll go over Justin Fields’ outlook in fantasy football for Week 6.
Fantasy Football analysis: Jets, QB, Justin Fields
The Broncos are currently fourth-best in DVOA and eighth-best in EPA against the pass. They’ve also allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks, including 13 rushing attempts for 15 yards and one touchdown, a Daniel Jones QB sneak. They held Jalen Hurts to two attempts for three yards, which is a huge difference than his usual rushing stats.
We can’t rely on Fields doing much through the air and it also looks like we have to worry about what he can do on the ground as well. He has been getting the bulk of his fantasy stats in garbage time, but those were against bad defenses. We could actually end up seeing Tyrod Taylor in this one late as well. I love Fields’ upside, but until I see him move the ball against a good defense, I’m not putting him in my Top 12 for this week.
