The Miami Dolphins are in shambles, but Darren Waller has been able to do what many NFL players haven’t — come out of retirement and play at a high level. Through just three games he’s been able to secure four touchdowns since returning.
Darren Waller start or sit: Week 7 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Darren Waller ahead of Week 7

This week the 1-5 Dolphins head to Cleveland to take on the 1-5 Browns as 2.5-point underdogs. The weather looks a little iffy at this point, but make sure to do your due diligence on just how iffy it is closer to kickoff. But, if the over/under has any predictive weather power, it’s already dropped four points, three days out from the game.
Below, we’ll go over Darren Waller’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 7.
Fantasy Football analysis: Dolphins, TE, Darren Waller
We know for a fact that Waller is getting targeted in the red zone and near the goal line through his first three games, so his touchdown possibilities remain good each week. We also know he’s averaging just four targets per game, so a touchdown is very much needed when his workload is so low. We also know his snap participation has grown every week and he’s already getting the snaps he needs to be in a good tier of fantasy tight ends. And that number could continue to rise.
The Browns defense is good, but their offense isn’t, which leaves their defense on the field too often and gives the opposing offense plenty of chances to squeeze through enemy lines. They have allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to tight ends, but haven’t given up a strong fantasy game to any one player. This week, it very much looks like Waller will need to find the end zone to continue to make up for a small workload.

Sit. The Dolphins go on the road in adverse weather conditions against a good defense this week, making it tough to advocate for Waller.
