The New Orleans Saints aren’t good, but like all bad teams, they have some good players. For the Saints, they have two strong receivers in Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed. Both should be strong fantasy starts each week, but unfortunately they have a backup level quarterback throwing them the ball in Spencer Rattler.
Rashid Shaheed start or sit: Week 6 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Rashid Shaheed ahead of Week 6

Last week we finally got to see a Shaheed specialty though, as Rattler connected deep with him for a long touchdown. This should be happening more often, but we’ll take what we can get for now. One good thing is that Kellen Moore runs the offense and he loves to throw the ball and pick up the pace. There should at least be opportunities of Rattler and Shaheed moving forward.
Below, we’ll go over Rashid Shaheed’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 6.
Fantasy Football analysis: Saints, WR, Rashid Shaheed
This week the Saints take on an improving Patriots team as home underdogs. Matching up with the Josh McDaniels up-tempo Patriots should make for a fast moving game, where both teams can accumulate a bunch of snaps. That’s good for all offensive skill players this week. The Patriots also have been susceptible to the deep ball, as they’ve allowed nine completions of 20+ yards, tying them for second, while they’ve allowed 47.4% of 20+ yard pass attempts to be completed, ranking fourth-worst. Christian Gonzalez could put a wrench in some plans, but Olave is the No. 1 receiver and could see plenty of their star corner.
Start or sit in Week 6 PPR leagues?
Start. Shaheed is better in standard leagues, but I feel pretty good about this matchup, so I’m leaning to start him in both.
