The Bears have won three in a row and have their arrow pointed up and second-year quarterback Caleb Williams is a big part of that. The question for us fantasy players is, how consistent can he be as a rusher and fantasy producer?
Caleb Williams start or sit: Week 7 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Caleb Williams ahead of Week 7

Williams has two rushing touchdowns and both came in games he wouldn’t have had a good fantasy day without them. He has just one game where he put up good numbers without a rushing touchdown and that was against the Cowboys awful pass defense. In those two games he didn’t play the Cowboys or rush for a touchdown he finished QB20 and QB24 in fantasy.
Below, we’ll go over Caleb Williams’ outlook in fantasy football for Week 7.
Fantasy Football analysis: Bears, QB, Caleb Williams
The good news is that Williams is running the ball. He currently ranks ninth in rushing attempts per game with 5.6. That’s more than Lamar Jackson. And he’s more than willing to run near the goal line. Adding to that, RB D’Andre Smith isn’t a great goal line back, making sure Williams is often needed close to the end zone.
The Bears take on the Saints at home in this matchup as 4.5 point favorites. So far, New Orleans has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks, which includes the fourth-most rushing yards to the position. In a vacuum, this is a great matchup and worthy of a start. Unfortunately there are some weather concerns that we should take into account. Those concerns are mostly wind, with gusts currently projected around 35 mph. At this point I’m going with a start, but check for reports from Chicago before locking that lineup in.
