The Pittsburgh Steelers are 4-1 and have big lead in the AFC North, with the Bengals in second place at 2-4. They’ll face the Bengals in Cincinnati on Thursday Night Football as 5.5-point favorites in hopes of extending that division lead.
Jaylen Warren start or sit: Week 7 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Jaylen Warren ahead of Week 7 vs. the Bengals.

Jaylen Warren returned to the starting lineup in Week 6 after missing one game with a knee injury. He quickly regained his lead back role from Kenny Gainwell, but he did see fewer snaps than normal, while Gainwell split passing down work and Kaleb Johnson saw more snaps than usual. Warren still led the team with 11 carries for 52 yards, adding two receptions for 11 more yards. It wasn’t a startable fantasy day against a good Browns defense, but he was the lead back.
Below, we’ll go over Jaylen Warren’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 7.
Fantasy Football analysis: Steelers, RB, Jaylen Warren
This week Warren will get a better matchup, as the Browns rank first in DVOA against the run, while the Bengals rank 30th. They also rank dead last in fantasy points allowed to the position. If the Steelers can get a lead, Warren should have enough chances against a bad run defense to put up good fantasy numbers. Kenny Gainwell might be able to do the same if they can truly dominate, but as it is with most AFC North games, they can be tough to predict.
The Steelers offense gets a great matchup here, but we can’t expect explosive fantasy numbers, especially in a running back situation that could lean into three-headed backfield territory. Warren feels safe this week though.
