The 3-4 Cincinnati Bengals host the winless New York Jets as 6.5-point favorites on Sunday. It’s pretty amazing to see the Bengal as 6.5-point favorites after losing Joe Burrow, but the acquisition of Joe Flacco has given their offense a little hope after putting up 33 on the Steelers last week.
Noah Fant start or sit: Week 8 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Noah Fant ahead of Week 8

In that Steelers game, TE Noah Fant got the bulk of the tight end work with Mike Gesicki put on I.R. and Tanner Hudson out with a concussion. He ended up catchig all four of his targets for 44 yards and a touchdown. The target number wasn’t good, but the touchdown saved his fantasy day. Those four targets tied for third on the team with Chase Brown and Andrei Iosivas, while Ja’Marr Chase saw an amazing 23 targets and Tee Higgins 10.
Below, we’ll go over Noah Fant’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 8.
Fantasy Football analysis: Bengals, TE, Noah Fant
the Jets defense isn’t as bad statistically against tight ends as the Bengals are, but they are still below average in all metrics. The matchup is good, but can we expect more than four targets for Fant? We’ll likely need to keep an eye on Tanner Hudson’s concussion status, as he would likely take some snaps away from Fant if he suits up.
Overall, if Hudson plays, I don’t feel good about playing Fant. If he doesn’t, I still wouldn’t feel great, but would be okay using him as a streamer if he’s needed.
Start or sit in Week 8 PPR leagues?
Sit. I expect Hudson to play this week and hurt Fant’s snap rate.
Start or sit in Week 8 standard leagues?
