The 1-7 Tennessee Titans host the 5-3 Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday as 9.5-point home underdogs. That sentence pretty much tells you haw things have been going this year for the Titans. At this point the team could trade away key pieces and start young players ahead of older players, or just crawl into a ball on the floor and take beatings until the end of the season.
Tyjae Spears start or sit: Week 9 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Tyjae Spears ahead of Week 9

One player who could continue to see an increased workload is Tyjae Spears. Spears is finally healthy and looking good. He’s also getting decent usage, as his team is almost always trailing and he sees more snaps than Tony Pollard in passing situations. Pollard could also be on the trade block, but at this point that is just conjecture.
Below, we’ll go over Tyjae Spears’ outlook in fantasy football for Week 9.
Fantasy Football analysis: Titans, RB, Tyjae Spears
Spears work as a receiver makes him much more attractive in PPR than standard leagues. We can’t count on a receiving touchdown against the Chargers, who have allowed no touchdowns through the air to running backs, but they have given up the 10th-most receptions to the position. They’ve also allowed the third-most rushing touchdowns with eight total.
Spears is borderline startable in PPR leagues, and with four teams on bye, I think it’s okay to get him in there this week and hope his role continues to cut into Pollard’s.
