The 3-5 Cincinnati Bengals will host the 4-3 Chicago Bears on Sunday as 2.5-point home underdogs. After losing Joe Burrow to injury and Jake Browning to incompetence, the team traded for and quickly got Joe Flacco throwing 40 times a game, mostly to WR1 Ja’Marr Chase. Flacco’s presence has elevated the offense, but now he is dealing with a shoulder sprain in his throwing arm, which has him questionable against Chicago.
Joe Flacco injury: What status means for Week 9 vs. Bears
Joe Flacco is dealing with a shoulder for Week 9. We break down what it means for fantasy football decisions.

Joe Flacco injury updates
Flacco only practiced on Thursday, which was supposedly the plan. He was listed as questionable on the final injury report and Ian Rapoport reports that Flacco is planning on starting.
Fantasy football analysis
Flacco starting is very good news for the Bengals offense, as we’ve seen him help them to 38 and 33 points their last two games. He’s also helped Chase put up great numbers on tremendous volume. Of course now, there is worry that he could aggravate the injury or that the injury hurts his ability to throw. If he is similar to what he has been, he should throw the ball enough to give him some fantasy value as a Top 15 play in a good matchup.
