It’s Thursday, so it’s time for the Week 7 fantasy football player rankings. PlayThisGuy.com has given us their Top 10 players at QB, RB, WR, TE, K, and D/ST. They go around the Internet collecting data from fantasy football sites far and wide, and collate it into easily digestible consensus tables for your viewing pleasure.
Just for kicks, let’s spotlight the kickers this week. Rob Bironas tops the list, he’s had four straight weeks of double-digit fantasy points; you have to love that kind of production from a kicker. Breaking into the list this week at number ten is Dolphins kicker Dan Carpenter. Carpenter went three for three on FGs and two for two on XPs last week. One of those FGs was the clutch winner in overtime. And let’s give a shoutout to Denver’s Matt Prater who hit a bomb of a kick last week, a 59-yarder that had distance to spare. Even though Prater missed his first kick all season in that game, he still got the aforementioned 59-yarder plus a 48-yard effort. Kicking in the thin air of Mile High could lead to some long attempts for the rest of the year.
