↵Johnson’s injury was reportedly to be a high ankle sprain so resting him now makes sense. That’s the type of injury that can linger if it doesn’t heal right in the first place. Resting Johnson against an opponent like the Raiders makes sense.

While Johnson did say he planned on playing this week, the Texans are favorites over the Raiders and can probably beat Oakland without their top receiver.
↵Texans head coach Gary Kubiak maintained during the week that Johnson would be a game time decision.
