The top five projections for tight ends in Week 10.
Fantasy Football Projections Week 10: Tight Ends
Marcedes Lewis (vs HOU) - In his last game, Lewis blew-up for two touchdowns and 51 yards against a hapless Dallas defense. This week, he gets another defense that is most-welcoming to the opposition, the Houston Texans. We say the Garrard-to-Lewis connection will roll.
Projection: 42 yds, 2 TD
Jacob Tamme (vs CIN) - The kid out of nowhere is now becoming one of Peyton Manning's favorite targets, mostly out of necessity since Colts receivers can't stay healthy. Tamme has been hot two weeks in a row, we think he'll hit the trifecta.
Projection: 101 yds, 1 TD
Visanthe Shiancoe (@ CHI) - No Randy Moss means Brett Favre is having to look elsewhere. Shiancoe has seen some of those targets, and this weekend he adds a touchdown to the mix.
Projection: 87 yards, 1 TD
Vernon Davis (vs. STL) - In his last game, Davis failed to catch a touchdown pass for the first time after racking up four consecutive games of hitting paydirt. Davis gets back on the touchdown-train this week and shows why he's one of the best at his position.
Projection: 77 yds, 1 TD
Jason Witten (@ NYG) - We don't know what's going to happen in Jason Garrett's first game as the new Cowboys coach, but he's got a tough task against a formidable Giants defense. With all that pressure, Kitna will be dumping to Witten, like he has the last few weeks.
Projection: 71 yds, 1 TD
