The top five projections for tight ends in Week 11.
Fantasy Football Projections Week 11: Tight Ends
Dustin Keller (vs HOU) - It's a running joke, but any skill player going against the Texans defense is in line for big points. Even Hail Mary's are good for for points against that secondary. Keller is a great play on normal weeks, this week he should explode.
Projection: 96 yds, 2 TD
Vernon Davis (vs TB) - If it wasn't for Antonio Gates, Davis would be the odds-on guy to put your money on to score points on a weekly basis. Tampa Bay has a decent pass defense, but Davis is no ordinary player. After a couple of weeks without a touchdown, Davis gets back on track.
Projection: 107 yds, 1 TD
Jacob Tamme (@ NE) - For a team that wins a lot of games, the Patriots pass defense is surprisingly bad. Tamme has had 6 catches and more than 60 yards in all his starts. He's consistent, and Manning likes to target him.
Projection: 90 yards, 1 TD
Chris Cooley (@ TEN) - The Titans linebackers and safeties are having a terrible time with tight ends recently. The Redskins are struggling, but using safety-valve Chris Cooley could help. McNabb should go to him often in this game.
Projection: 106 yds, 0 TD
Antonio Gates (vs. DEN) - Gates' status for the game is up in the air. But, just because he's Antonio Gates, we're going to throw him here as the number five guy. We won't project his stats, we just project that many anxious owners will be waiting for the decision on Gates this weekend.
