Fantasy Football News Roundup, Week 13: Detroit’s Quarterback Injury Woes Continue
Checking in on the fantasy news of the day for Week 13
--- The quarterback carousel continues in Detroit. Matthew Stafford was supposed to be the guy, but Shaun Hill has taken the majority of snaps because of Stafford's ailments. Now, it looks like Shaun Hill could be done for the year, and is almost certainly out this week. Hill was a nice second QB option on fantasy rosters, now you'll likely have to look elsewhere. Drew Stanton is expected to take over.
--- In case you missed it, Frank Gore is done for the year. But if you have Gore on your roster, you probably already knew that.
--- If you've been holding on to Pierre Thomas, (if you have, that's a lot of faith to have in a non-star player!) then you might finally get rewarded. Thomas is a possible go this week after recovering from a severe ankle injury.
--- The Colts are unsure about the status of Austin Collie and Joseph Addai. Collie seems the more likely of the two to play this week against the Cowboys, but that's no sure thing. They'll monitor Collie throughout the week to see his progress on recovery from a concussion. They seem much more pessimistic about Addai, who is doing conditioning, but not much else.
--- Ben Roethlisberger is in a walking boot, but everyone expects he'll play in Week 13, even his coach.
--- Other notable injuries:
Those who waited on the return of Vincent Jackson were disappointed when he was almost immediately injured with a calf strain. He's unlikely to play this week.
Adrian Peterson is recovering from an ankle injury, his status for this week is unclear.
Marion Barber is likely out this week for Dallas.
The Seahawks might get the services of receiver Mike Williams back.
