Who is looking good at quarterback for Week 13? We project five good ones.
Fantasy Football Projections Week 13: Quarterbacks
Michael Vick (vs. HOU) - Just like we liked DeSean Jackson at receiver, we like Michael Vick at quarterback. There's no juicier matchup for an NFL QB than the Texans secondary. Vick should easily compile big numbers through the air, throw in his potential to score on the ground, and you have the makings of a huge day.
Projection: 349 yds, 3 TD
Philip Rivers (vs OAK) - Rivers just gets it done no matter how many injuries he has at wide receiver and tight end. He torched Oakland for 431 yards in their last game. The only thing that could slow him down is if the Chargers score on the ground, but Rivers should still get his share.
Projection: 386 yds, 3 TD
Matt Cassel (vs DEN) - Cassel has been red-hot and has already laid waste to the Broncos secondary once this year. Hooking up with Dwayne Bowe on touchdowns has become a regular occurrence for Cassel. He's gone from fantasy bench guy to legitimate start each week.
Projection: 325 yds, 3 TD
Kyle Orton (@ KC) - The Denver and Kansas City game looks to be a points bonanza. Like many guys we've already recommended, Orton had a big day in this game a few weeks ago. We're sticking with the theme.
Projection: 370 yards, 2 TD
Peyton Manning (vs. DAL) - Manning has been a turnover machine recently, but we still have faith in him. The Cowboys are playing better, but they can be had in the passing game. Manning bounces back with a decent performance.
Projection: 321 yds, 2 TD
