Matt Ryan, Darren McFadden, Carson Palmer Provide Sunday’s First Touchdowns

Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Ryan, Oakland Raiders RB Darren McFadden, and Cincinnati Bengals QB Carson Palmer are on the board early with the day’s first scores.

Ryan threw a four-yard pass to TE Tony Gonzalez after the Carolina Panthers fumbled away their opening drive. Ryan’s numbers so far suggest he is indeed playing against the Panthers, as he has 59 yards only nine minutes in. The score was only Gonzalez’ fifth of the season.

McFadden pulled in a pass from QB Jason Campbell for a 67-yard score — since the Raiders are playing the Jacksonville Jaguars, look forward to multiple subsequent posts in this stream on both teams. For whatever reason, Jags games are always extremely fantasy-relevant. McFadden appears to be back on his hot streak after a mere 30-yard outing a few weeks ago.

Luckily you played Bengals OT Andrew Whitworth today, since he was the happy recipient of Palmer’s one-yard touchdown strike. It was the first score of Whitworth’s career.
