NFL Week 14 Fantasy Football News: Michael Turner And Darren McFadden Lead Big Ground Day
Kyle Orton Struggling; Time To Start Tim Tebow?
Denver Broncos QB Kyle Orton has thrown 14 incompletions and two interceptions in 26 attempts today. This is even worse than last week’s effort, a 32.8 completion percentage outing that was his worst game of the season by far. When will the Broncos turn the rest of their season over to rookie QB Tim Tebow?
What does a soon-to-be 3-10 team have to lose by finding out what it’s got in its first-round quarterback? Wish Josh McDaniels out as head coach, Denver needs to figure out whether Tebow is a long-term option or not. Getting blown out by the Cardinals is usually the first sign it’s time to try something different.

With QB Matt Cassel out due to surgery, the Kansas City Chiefs offense isn’t getting very much accomplished. Backup Brodie Croyle has thrown for only 40 yards, giving up 23 yards worth of sacks in the process.
Chargers QB Philip Rivers is having no such difficulties, passing for 178 yards and two touchdowns, both of them to WR Malcolm Floyd. This is Rivers’ ninth multiple-touchdown game of the season, and Floyd is up to six scores on the year.

Saints QB Drew Brees has already thrown two scores to WR Marques Colston, a five-yarder halfway through the first and a 17-yarder just before the second. Brees is already 13 of 15 for 97 yards, putting him on pace to end up with a season-high 60, though he won’t have much reason to throw 60 times if the Rams don’t start scoring. His previous season high was 56, so this is all actually worth mentioning. He’s also thrown a touchdown in every game this season, with multiple scores in 10.
After not scoring through week six, Colston now has seven touchdowns in his last seven games.

McNabb has thrown an interception in an impressive ten straight games, so his lack of turnovers so far today will indeed be something to write home about if he can keep it up. McNabb’s fantasy owners will gladly note what’s become a 12-game touchdown streak, however.
It’s hard to say how many of McNabb’s owners actually played him today, as he also had a minor hamstring injury in addition to Grossman nipping at his heels.
