After a week in which the Washington Redskins reportedly split QB practice time between Donovan McNabb and Rex Grossman, McNabb has yet to get pulled in the first half against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He’s completed nine of 12 for 74 yards and a touchdown and hasn’t thrown any picks, but mainly he’s just staying out of Ryan Torain’s way.
Donovan McNabb Holding Off Rex Grossman Against Bucs
McNabb has thrown an interception in an impressive ten straight games, so his lack of turnovers so far today will indeed be something to write home about if he can keep it up. McNabb’s fantasy owners will gladly note what’s become a 12-game touchdown streak, however.
It’s hard to say how many of McNabb’s owners actually played him today, as he also had a minor hamstring injury in addition to Grossman nipping at his heels.
