Fantasy Football Monday Night Preview, Week 14: Brett Favre Doubtful To Play

It was only supposed to be one game on Monday night, but thanks to a collapsed roof in Minnesota due to snow, we get a double-dip. The originally scheduled Monday night game is between the Houston Texans and the Baltimore Ravens. Now, we also get the New York Giants facing the Minnesota Vikings in a game to be played in Detroit.

Everybody is wondering who will start at quarterback for the Vikings. Brett Favre's shoulder injury may actually keep him out of this game and snap his consecutive starts streak. Favre didn't sound optimistic yesterday, and his coach Leslie Frazier didn't seem optimistic today. It feels like Tarvaris Jackson will get the start, but with Favre involved you never know. The Giants defense is having to gameplan for both contingencies, and will also have to deal Adrian Peterson who put on a show last week.Percy Harvin is also a game-time decision for the Vikings. On offense, the Giants are likely getting back Steve Smith and Hakeem Nicks.

In the other game, we have a clash of styles. The Houston Texans are all offense with Arian Foster, Andre Johnson and Matt Schaub, their defense is easy pickings for most opponents. Unfortunately for Baltimore, they're not built to be a passing team which is where the real action is when playing the Texans. They will also be without tight end Todd Heap. The Ravens defense can be tough, but their secondary hasn't been airtight.They will have a challenge in containing Arian Foster and Andre Johnson.
