Last night’s game had a lot of prime players for Week 13 in it, hopefully you took advantage. This weekend’s matchups still has the bulk of the talent, so who should you choose? In a sign of Peyton Manning’s recent troubles, he’s all the way down to number five at quarterback, even against a suspect Cowboys defense. He still beats out little brother Eli, who comes in as the number eight quarterback. Slotted one spot ahead of Eli is Matt Cassel who has been on fire recently and now is a regular play for most owners.
In the game between the Colts and the Cowboys, one of the tight ends is the number one ranked player at that position. With Dallas Clark out, you’d think it would have to be Jason Witten, but it’s not. The experts love Jacob Tamme against the Cowboys linebackers and safeties, Witten checks in at number six. Right behind him at number seven is Antonio Gates, a sign that not everyone believes he’s healthy again, or he would be at the top.
We mentioned how hot Cassel has been, and the guy who has been the recipient of a lot of those passes is Dwayne Bowe. He’s been so good over the last month that he gets the top nod at receiver. The last time the Chiefs played the Broncos, Bowe was outstanding. In fact, the KC-Denver game could be a points mega-producer like it was earlier in the season.
