The big news in the fantasy football world on Friday afternoon is the surprise development that Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Colts.
Fantasy Football Week 3 News: Knowshon Moreno Injury Means Laurence Maroney Could Make Early Impact
↵There’s no word yet on what kind of injury he might have.

That means that fantasy football lineups need to be adjusted. For that, you'll want to know that Josh McDaniels mentioned Laurence Maroney and Andre Brown as candidates to pick up the slack. Maroney was inactive last week after being traded from the Patriots but, as SB Nation's Mile High Report points out, he practiced this week and looks ready to go. Brown was activated from the practice squad this week.

Last week Moreno was able to pick up over 100 total yards, including a 45-yard screen pass, and a touchdown but the Broncos seem more likely to go with more of a running back by committee if they're just trying to pick up Moreno's slack for one game. It doesn't help that right tackle Ryan Harris is out as well.
