Zach Miller Injury Update: Seahawks TE Ruled Out Vs. Browns

Seattle Seahawks tight end Zach Miller (head/neck) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns.

Miller sustained a concussion during the Seahawks' 36-25 win over the New York Giants on October 9 when Giants safety Kenny Phillips launched into Miller on the opening drive of the game. Miller continued to play in the first half, but was sat out the final two quarters. Phillips was penalized on the play and fined $20,000 by the National Football League.

Despite Seattle having a bye last week, Miller has not yet been cleared to return to practice.

2010 sixth-round pick Anthony McCoy is the only other tight end on the Seahawks' roster, but third-year player Cameron Morrah could be activated from the physically unable to perform list. Morrah caught nine passes for 117 yards last season, but opened the season on the PUP list with a toe injury. Morrah returned to practice this week, starting the clock on the three-week window to add him to the 53-man roster.

The Seahawks also have the option of signing journeyman tight end John Nalbone off the practice squad.
