At this point it is a tough weekly decision if you are counting on Lynch for fantasy contributions. If you are counting on him for significant contributions you may already be in trouble this season. He has not been a consistent contributor in some time and given Seattle’s offensive struggles, their rushing game has very little value at this point.

For now, the Bucs will head back home from London after a disheartening 24-18 loss and take some time to regroup during their bye week. We likely won’t get an update on Blount until after the bye.

For McFadden owners, the Raiders could release some information in the next couple days, but the odds are high that we don’t hear any hard confirmation until early next week when the team has to provide an injury report for week nine. In the meantime, if Michael Bush is on the waiver wire, he remains a strong handcuff for McFadden even if Run DMC is able to go in two weeks.

Michelle Tafoya reported during the game that Addai indicated if the game had been Tuesday he would have been 100%. That would seem to indicate he was struggling a bit coming in and it just didn’t come around. It’s also possible the hamstring tightened up a bit, and when it did feel fine the game was already turning into a rout. Whatever the case, we will keep an eye out for updates on Addai over the next couple of days. He only practice once this past week, so we’ll see if he gets much practice this coming week.

Hightower currently has 321 rushing yards and one touchdown through five games. He has had some issues staying healthy, which has allowed Ryan Torain to claim some carries. He and Roy Helu both struggled on Sunday even after Hightower went down. They will look to bounce back next Sunday at Buffalo.

Last week, Murray actually ended up getting twice as many carries as Choice, but he wasn’t exactly great either. Murray had 10 carries for 32 yards, while Choice had five carries for 14 yards and a fumble.

Marshawn Lynch was a late scratch from the Seattle Seahawks line up today, as he injured his back in warm ups according to Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times, via his Twitter feed.

Thomas tore his Achilles tendon back in February and used his time during the NFL lockout to work his way back from the injury. He was ahead of schedule during training camp and was ready to make his way through practice before the broken finger.

What does that mean for his potential fantasy numbers? It’s hard to say. Battle was fantastic against the Colts, while Jones’ age and level of performance suggest that Battle is going to see plenty of carries. However, he’s only put up huge numbers on one occasion and it’s tough to bank on a guy like that putting in a repeat performance.

While Gonzalez is nominally Pierre Garcon’s backup, Garcon has emerged as the Colts No. 1 wide receiver, overcoming Reggie Wayne. Curtis Painter has taken a liking to Garcon, which would make it hard for Gonzalez to get many targets from Painter.

Fantasy owners would be well advised to stay away from Gonzalez. His injury situation as well as his doubtful playing time even if he were active for games makes him one of the receivers owners should let slip from the mind.
