Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas might have played in the 2011 earlier than Week 7 had he not broken his pinky finger before the first game of the season. But he appears ready to take the field on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. He is probable for the game.
Demaryius Thomas Status Update: Denver Broncos WR Expected To Play For 1st Time In 2011
Thomas tore his Achilles tendon back in February and used his time during the NFL lockout to work his way back from the injury. He was ahead of schedule during training camp and was ready to make his way through practice before the broken finger.
Thomas won't start for the Broncos, as Eddie Royal returns to the lineup from injury and Eric Decker permanently moves into Brandon Lloyd's spot. Still, the Broncos will want to see what they have in the second-year receiver who played sparingly in 2010.
