The Detroit Lions will have tight end Tony Scheffler back after a one-week absence. Scheffler had a concussion in Week 5's matchup against the Chicago Bears after Brian Urlacher delivered a hard hit. After sitting out last week's loss to the San Francisco 49ers, Scheffler didn't practice on Wednesday. He was a limited participant in practice on Thursday and Friday and is probable for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Tony Scheffler Status Update: Detroit Lions TE Ready After Concussion
Scheffler hasn't been a fantasy factor at all this season. He has just four catches for 63 yards in five games. However, two of those catches helped fantasy owners as they wound up in the end zone. Brandon Pettigrew will continue to be the main target at tight end for Matthew Stafford.
