Julio Jones Injury Update: Falcons WR Returns To Practice

The Atlanta Falcons wrapped up their bye week by returning to practice on Monday and they received some good news. Wide receiver Julio Jones returned to practice, and barring a setback he would seem likely to return to the field this coming Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts are a fantastic fantasy matchup for wide receivers, so if he is back, you will want him back in your lineup.

Jones has been out since suffering a hamstring injury week five against the Green Bay Packers. Hamstrings are always tough injuries, especially for skill position players. Jones sat out two games and the bye week and that would appear to have him sufficiently back on track.

Harry Douglas had filled in the starting role in Jones absence and put together a pair of solid performances, twice leading the Falcons in receiving yards. It will be interesting to see how the Falcons use Douglas now that Jones is back on the field.
