Most fantasy leagues are now in the playoffs and the last thing you need is your starting players underperforming. Unfortunately, every week there are players who leave you hanging. This was just the absolute worst week for them to not show up like they have most other weeks. Here are five of the fantasy duds that may have helped you into the losers bracket.
Fantasy Football Week 14: Duds Include Calvin Johnson, Peyton Hillis
Some big name receivers disappointed their fantasy owners in Week 14.

The Detroit Lions put up 34 points on their way to beating the Minnesota Vikings yet none of those points belonged to Calvin Johnson. The wide receiver who scored eight touchdowns through the first four games of the season hasn't looked so good lately. On Sunday he only caught three passes for 29 yards and, if you were relying on him to get you to the next round, he didn't help you out too much.
Score (ESPN standard scoring): three points
My, how the mighty have fallen. In reality, you should probably have found a new running back to replace Peyton Hillis about half way through the season and you definitely shouldn't have started him against the Steelers defense in Pittsburgh on Thursday night. If you did, you paid for it. Hillis ran the ball 10 times for 25 yards in a close game against the Steelers.
Score: two points
Even though Beanie Wells has had a few huge games so far this season, he doesn't seem to be the fantasy back that owners can really rely on yet. After two straight games in which he scored touchdowns, Wells laid an egg. He carried the ball 15 times for only 27 yards against the 49ers on Sunday.
Score: two points
Tony Romo threw four touchdown passes and for over 300 yards during Sunday night's loss to the Giants. Some of those passes had to go to pro-bowl caliber tight end Jason Witten right? No. No they didn't. Witten caught three passes for only 12 yards and was held at check by the Giants throughout the entire game. He hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 11.

| BenJarvus Green-Ellis RB New England Patriots |
You can barely call this one a dud. It's hard to start a Patriots running back with the expectation that they'll have a big game. In reality, you never really know who will be carrying the ball the most from week to week. While Green-Ellis seems to be the main running back, some weeks it's Danny Woodhead who gets the most carries and in others it's Kevin Faulk who gets a lot of touches. This was one of those weeks. Green-Ellis only carried the ball five times for 19 yards in Washington against the Redskins. It just wasn't his (or yours, if you started him) week.
