With the fantasy football season rapidly approaching, the staff at Fake Teams has put hours of research together and decided to butt heads and come up with some rankings. In doing so, composite positional rankings have been compiled to assist you in all upcoming drafts. The upcoming weeks will provide rankings by position along with each staff member’s arguments on differing individual ranks. It is my pleasure to unveil the first of many Fantasy Football Composite Ranks, so please sit back and enjoy and feel free to use the comments section to have your voices heard.

While almost everyone in the industry has the same quarterbacks we have listed in the top 10 above, the first 3 spots are a lot closer than I imagined - the Super Bowl MVP lands in the top spot followed closely by everyone’s favorite 2010 waiver wire wonder and Mr. Gisele. Once Big Ben is off the board, the position becomes awfully murky. At that point in the draft, you could go in seemingly any direction you choose.
My 2 cents: Take a Top-10 QB from the list above. If you decide to wait, or if the draft doesn’t unfold in the manner you’d like, then pick 2 and play the match-ups. Simply wait for a Stafford/Bradford/Kolb/Flacco type and go the 2-QB route. 2011 might be the year to take a quarterback early and reap the benefits.
