Wide receivers tend to be the wild cards of your fantasy roster. Unless they’re one of the best, one week they’re up and the next week they’re down. It’s a tough call on when to play some of them.
Fantasy Football Week 2 Wide Receiver Projections: Andre Johnson Tops The List
Week 2 of fantasy football is drawing near, it’s time to project the Top 25 fantasy wide receivers.

SB Nation’s partner, numberFire.com, asked their giant computer-brain to crunch the numbers and to spit out some player projections for the upcoming week. They have the massive database of numbers, and the algorithms to break it all down, providing you with a statistical projection for Week 2.
The Beast, Andre Johnson, tops this week's projections for wide receiver, and that's no surprise. The Texans are playing a Miami defense that was shredded by Tom Brady's arm last week. Matt Schaub may not be Tom Brady, but he can sling the ball, and Johnson is sure to benefit. The computer still likes Dwayne Bowe, but last week's Chiefs flame-out against the Bills gives one pause.
Both Cowboys receivers, Miles Austin and Dez Bryant show up in the top 25, they face the 49ers. Bryant was held out of practice as a precaution, but should be able to go.
Hakeem Nicks has an injury, so keep a close eye on him all week.
* Fantasy Points Projections are based on the Yahoo! and ESPN default scoring settings. Quarterbacks are scored with 1 point for every 25 passing yards, and 4 points for every touchdown. For running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends, they are scored with 1 point for every 10 total yards, and 6 points for every touchdown. This is a non-PPR projection.
