They are the divas of the NFL, and the can be maddeningly inconsistent as far as fantasy football goes. Of course we’re talking about wide receivers. They’re dependent on their quarterback and they’re dependent on their offensive line, so consistency is a tough commodity to come by. But, there are some top guys who produce each week. Who will produce in week one?

Surprisingly, Dwayne Bowe tops the receivers list. This probably has a lot to say about the perceived weakness of the Bills defense. We don’t have any stats yet for the 2011 season, but based what we’ve seen in the last few years and on the offseason, the Chiefs offense looks like a good bet on Sunday.

Reggie Wayne, even without Peyton Manning, comes it second. That’s also based on a woeful pass defense last year, that of the Colts opponent, the Texans. Houston has tried to revamp their defense over the offseason, we’ll see how well that worked. Third place belongs to another receiver in the Colts and Texans game, Andre Johnson.
