If you got a fantasy football stud at tight end, then it’s a blessing. They can produce numbers equivalent to a wide receiver. The problem is that there’s so few of them in the league currently. It becomes a dicey proposition picking out tight ends in the middle tier who will produce each week. That’s why we’ve done the work for you. Which tight end is in line for a big weekend?
Once you get past the top tier, guys like Antonio Gates, Jason Witten, and Dallas Clark, there are some new guys knocking on the door, and some vets who have always teased with their potential. Jermichael Finely is back from injury and looks like a guy who could do consistent damage, he comes in second in this week’s projections. Vernon Davis has teased us for years, will he have a big year again like he did a few years ago? His projections for Sunday look good.
Some veterans who are usually near the top of the list are falling further down nowadays, guys like Tony Gonzalez and Kellen Winslow.
