Kansas City Chiefs QB Matt Cassel's job may be on the rocks after another poor showing Sunday. According to a source, via Jason Cole of Yahoo Sports, Cassel is quickly losing the confidence of his teammates and front office. "Look, there's a big reason why they went after Peyton Manning as hard as they did this offseason...He's a really nice backup, not a starter." After throwing three interceptions against the Chargers in Sunday's game, Cassel is now up to seven picks on the season.
Matt Cassel losing confidence of both teammates and fantasy owners
Matt Cassel is facing the heat after another poor game. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: What a disaster. In addition to the picks, Cassel also has three fumbles and is on pace for 40 turnovers. He has the dreaded "vote of confidence" from coach Romeo Crennel because, well, who else is going to play? Brady Quinn and Ricky Stanzi are arguably even worse than Cassel. Fantasy owners should be avoiding this situation like the plague - Cassel is barely worth a bench spot anymore.
