San Francisco 49ers quarterback Alex Smith reportedly sprained his middle finger on his throwing finger against the Bills in Week 5. This week, Niners coach Jim Harbaugh said he believes Smith is "fine" and therefore should be ready to go this weekend against the visiting New York Giants, per Matt Maiocco.
Alex Smith’s finger is “fine,” ready to play in Week 6: Fantasy Implications
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Alex Smith should be ready to go in Week 6. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Analysis: Well, well. It looks as if 49ers quarterback Alex Smith is fantasy relevant. After putting him massive numbers against the Bills in Week 5, it seems as if Smith has legitimate sleeper value. Smith could be a great play in future match-ups due to his corps of weapons and mistake-free brand of football. He will not negate points by throwing costly interceptions or losing fumbles. Feel free to pickup Alex Smith as a bench player, but be encouraged to play the match-ups with him.
