Detroit Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew (knee) was limited at practice today, per Dave Birkett. Even though Pettigrew was limited, he should be expected to take the field Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Brandon Pettigrew limited in practice this week, fantasy value steady
Detroit Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew was limited in practice this week. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Analysis: Pettigrew's value remains high because he is a big-bodied, pass-catching tight end in a pass-heavy offense. Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford slings the ball as much as any passer in the league, and that leads to Pettigrew getting his fair share of targets. Targets ultimately lead to receptions, yards and sometimes scores. If Pettigrew is healthy, is he good start. This weekend when the Lions take on the turnover-prone Eagles, Detroit should get plenty of opportunities on the offensive side of the ball.
