Titans quarterback Jake Locker has officially been ruled out for Thursday night's game against the Steelers with a shoulder injury. Locker went out in Week 4 against the Texans and this will be his second missed game. Matt Hasselbeck started last week and though he's completed 62% of his passes this season, they are only going for 5.5 yards per attempt. Rusty Smith could see action again if Hasselbeck continues to unimpress. Running back Javon Ringer (knee, expected to miss 4-6 weeks) and tackle Michael Otto were also ruled out.
Jake Locker injury update: OUT for Thursday game
The Titans will be missing two key pieces on offense when they face the Steelers. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Take: Locker had high sleeper value going into the year as a dual-threat quarterback and then played well for fantasy (63.2% completions, 7.4 YPA, 4 TD) but he’ll learn, as all athletic quarterbacks do, that getting hit in the NFL hurts a lot. He’s going to have to find a way to be effective but also remain healthy.
