It's expected that Richardson will start getting on the field for every third down, making him a true "every down back." Beat writer Tony Grossi expects that will start in Week 6 against the Bengals, which means that Richardson could go up even more from the 20 touches per game he's already been getting. Richardson has only rushed for 3.74 yards per carry on the season, but he's scored in four straight games and has caught 20 passes for 169 yards.

Fantasy Take: Richardson hasn’t taken long to become an RB1 in fantasy because few backs are true “1,500 yard workhorses” anymore and T-Rich has put up consistent value in 2012. By taking an even bigger part in the offense, it seems very likely that Richardson will reach 1,200 yards and 10 touchdowns in his first NFL season.
