The Detroit Lions provided no update on Monday on whether running back Jahvid Best has been cleared to return to the field. Best was placed on the physically unable to perform list before the season and was required to miss the first six weeks. Best took a concussion test last week but the team has yet to update his status.
Jahvid Best’s fantasy return still on hold, no update Monday from Lions
Detroit Lions coach Jim Schwartz on Monday gave no update on running back Jahvid Best (concussion). We break down the fantasy implications.

Coach Jim Schwartz said on Monday that he was not in the loop with the doctor's making decisions regarding Best. He is eligible to return in Week 7 and could face the Chicago Bears next Monday if he is medically cleared.
Fantasy Impact: No news is likely not good news for Best, who has not played since Week 6 of last season. If he is cleared, there should be chances for him to win playing time as Mikel Leshoure has been average as the starting running back since taking over the role in Week 3.
Fantasy owners who grabbed Best may be rewarded but that may not happen Week 7. For now, Leshoure will get the most chances to help fantasy owners, while Best continues to be a roster stash.
