Detroit Lions running back Joique Bell has seen his role continue to expand in the offense over the last few weeks and that's come at the expense of Week 1 starter Kevin Smith. According to Tim Twentyman of DetroitLions.com, Bell has averaged almost 22 offensive snaps per game over the last four weeks. Smith, meanwhile, was inactive for Sunday's win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Joique Bell continues to see expanded role for Lions: Fantasy implications
Detroit Lions running back Joique Bell has started to see an expanded role in the offense. We break down the fantasy implications.

Mikel Leshoure remains the starting running back in Detroit but the work load could change again this season once/if Jahvid Best (concussion) is cleared to return to the field.
Fantasy Impact: Bell doesn’t quite rise to the level of flex play in most formats but 22 snaps a game is a lot of time for a backup running back. Detroit’s running back situation is hardly set in stone, although Leshoure continues to get most of the carries.
Bell is more of a player to keep in mind if Leshoure goes down. It would be hard to imagine the Lions going back to Kevin Smith if such a scenario plays out.
