Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall (Achilles) missed Wednesday practice and is questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals. The former star back came out with fire in his first game returning from ACL surgery, gaining 101 total yards and a touchdown against the Eagles. He was limited to six yards on six carries against the Titans last Thursday. A missed practice on Wednesday could signal additional time off for Mendenhall, or could just be a precaution. His status will have to be monitored over the next two days.
Rashard Mendenhall injury update: Fantasy value hurt with missed practice
Did we speak too soon on the return of Mendenhall to being a viable fantasy option? We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Take: The Bengals thus far have a bad running defense, but is it worth it to risk Mendenhall even if he’s active? The Titans looked like a great matchup and then he put up a dud before getting hurt. Unless he has two straight full practices, I wouldn’t risk it.
