Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray was held out Wednesday's practice with a foot injury, per Dallas Cowboys. His appearance on the injury report comes as no surprise, as most are expecting backup Felix Jones to start Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.
DeMarco Murray (foot) missed Wednesday’s practice, fantasy value on hold
Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray was held out of Wednesday’s practice. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Murray emerged as the lead back this year but has had trouble when it comes to durability. If Murray is able to stay healthy for a full 16-game slate, he is a sure-fire 1,000-yard rusher.
Fantasy Analysis: Right now, it appears as if Felix Jones will get the start this Sunday. The Cowboys are going to be careful with Murray, so as long as the foot is an issue, they’re likely to keep him off of it. Until we hear further, Murray will likely need a replacement this Sunday.
Behind Jones, running back Phillip Tanner is expected to get some reps. The injury to Murray doesn't seem to be season-ending, but with the nature of foot injuries, it's hard to project a timetable.
