Update: The Baltimore Sun is now reporting a source saying that Suggs will not play this weekend, and that it would be a shock if he did. A separate NFL.com report quotes another source who says that no firm timetable is in place for Suggs’ return.
Terrell Suggs hopes to play Sunday, raising fantasy value
Terrell Suggs hopes and expects to play when the Ravens take on the Texans after returning to practice this week. We break down the fantasy implications.

Terrell Suggs believes he can suit up and play this weekend when the Baltimore Ravens take on the Houston Texans, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Suggs tore his Achilles' tendon in April, and was not expected to return to the field until November.
According to league sources, Suggs’ friends and family have already made plans to see the defensive end play in Houston. The organization has not yet given any word on his playing status.
Fantasy Impact: Suggs may be about to pull one of the all-time quickest turnarounds from a serious injury. There seems to be more to the story than typical player hubris, though don’t be surprised if he is somehow ruled out before game time.
It would be asking a lot to expect Suggs to compete at an NFL Defensive MVP-level in his first outing back from injury. For fantasy purposes, you may want to hold off a couple weeks before relying on him as an IDP. Suggs is worth targeting immediately on waivers, however. The Ravens improve significantly as a Team D/ST option as well after a rough week.
