Dallas Cowboys running back Felix Jones is not on the injury report for the team today, looking good to start against the Carolina Panthers with DeMarco Murray already ruled out. Jones, a big fantasy sleeper before 2011, came in for Murray after he left with a foot injury in Week 6. He was very effective overall, gaining 92 yards on 18 carries. Jones had come into the game with only three carries on the season but he's going to get a second chance at life with Murray ruled out for at least one game.
Felix Jones absent injury report, fantasy value spiking upwards
The oft-injured Jones takes the reigns with DeMarco Murray out. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Take: Jones will share carries with Philip Tanner, but that doesn’t mean that they will split them even. The player to own here is Jones and it might be a good opportunity to ride a hot hand with Murray out. I’d still say it’s a risk to start him, considering how bad he was last season when asked to start for Dallas, but it might be worth it against a mediocre Panthers defense.
