Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall has a better chance to play this week than backup Isaac Redman according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, but we'll know more after monitoring the practice injury report on Friday. Mendenhall injured his Achilles in Week 6 and had only six carries (for six yards) in the game, while Redman (knee) had five for 14 yards. Even with the extra rest after a Thursday game last week, the Steelers may not be able to suit either of Mendenhall or Redman, but we might have to find out Sunday night when the Steelers take on the Bengals.

Fantasy Take: You can’t reliably start Mendenhall or Redman this week since they are both hurt and you might have to risk going past all of the day games since the Steelers play on Sunday night. However, there is always the chance that Mendenhall starts against a mediocre Bengals defense and has a big night. It’s a risk. Are you a gambler?
