Oakland Raiders offensive coordinator Greg Knapp is still committed to his zone-blocking scheme, but he's adjusting it somewhat in an attempt to get RB Darren McFadden going. Knapp told the San Francisco Chronicle that he added more power blocking looks against the Atlanta Falcons: "We did some more one-back power and we emphasized, instead of wide zone, we did some tight zone as change ups...But it was still a pretty good mix in (32) rushes."
Raiders tweaking zone-blocking scheme as Darren McFadden tries to revive fantasy value
The Raiders finally found success in the running game as Greg Knapp tweaked his maligned zone-blocking scheme, but how long will the success last? We break down the fantasy implications.

The adjustments appeared to pay dividends, as McFadden racked up 98 total yards and a TD as the Raiders took the Falcons down to the wire.
Fantasy Impact: It was a much-improved performance for DMC and the running game after looking extremely sluggish at the start of the season. Whether or not Knapp sticks to his adjustments remains to be seen, but fantasy owners shouldn’t give up on DMC yet.
The Raiders have some pretty favorable matchups coming up (Jacksonville in Week 7, Kansas City in Week 8, Tampa Bay in Week 9) so keep locking DMC in as your RB1. He’s too talented to be struggling for long.
