Felix Jones dealing with bruised knee heading into Week 8, fantasy value on hold
Dallas Cowboys running back Felix Jones was kept out of the closing minutes of Sunday’s win over the Carolina Panthers because of a bruised knee. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jones was replaced in the game by Phillip Tanner, who had three carries for four yards on the team's final drive. Dallas is hoping to have Murray back on the field in Week 8 against the New York Giants.
Fantasy Impact: Jones wasn’t terrible for fantasy owners on Sunday but the Cowboys can’t feel great about their running back situation against the Giants if both Jones and Murray can’t play in Week 8. Murray last week was in a protective boot and on crutches and was never expected to play in Week 7.
Fantasy owners should know more about prospects of Murray and Jones later in the week. Tanner has almost no fantasy value unless both players ahead of him are ruled out.
