Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon has a tear in his injured foot and could miss two or three more weeks, a source tells Grant Paulsen of Washington radio station 106.7 The Fan. Paulsen reports that the tear is minor and that Garcon needs to rest the foot for it to heal.
Pierre Garcon reportedly could miss 2 to 3 more weeks, fantasy value sinking
Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon could miss 2 to 3 more weeks because of his injured foot. We break down the fantasy implications.

Garcon has missed the last two games and four games overall this season because of the foot injury. The Redskins will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8 but Paulsen speculates that Garcon may not return until after the team's bye in Week 10.
Fantasy Impact: If this timetable is correct, Garcon won't have much of an impact during the rest of the fantasy regular season. He has had one good game this season and it came in Week 1. Leonard Hankerson and Santana Moss are looking like better options if fantasy owners are looking for a Redskins receiver to use.
Garcon may have some future value for owners contending for a playoff spot, otherwise he will likely just on benches for the next few weeks.
