Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson's ankle was "a little sore," coach Leslie Frazier said on Monday. Frazier said it was encouraging that his running back's ankle was not as sore as it was last Monday. Peterson hurt the ankle in Week 5 but has not missed any games.
Adrian Peterson’s ankle a ‘little sore’ after Week 7 win, remains solid fantasy start
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson’s ankle was “a little sore” after Sunday’s win. We break down the fantasy implications.

Peterson had 23 carries for 153 yards on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. Minnesota faces the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday night in Week 8.
Fantasy Impact: Comparing the health of Peterson’s ankle from Monday to Monday isn’t valid this week because the Vikings have to play again in a matter of days. Peterson delivered his best fantasy game of the season on Sunday but it will be interesting to see if Minnesota gives him that much work again against the Buccaneers.
Peterson will still be a No. 1 running back this week but fantasy owners shouldn’t be surprised if the heavy workload catches up with him on Thursday. On a normal week, Peterson would be a threat to turn in a huge fantasy day.
